Respect for others 

• I agree to act with respect toward all those I come into contact with through Rugby;
• I respect others as persons and treat them with dignity; and
• I do not endanger the safety of others through my actions.

Respect for self

• I promote drug-free sport;
• I avoid the abuse of alcohol and use of illegal drugs;
• I am ready for practices, games, and training sessions on time;
• I will inform my coach or trainer if I am not able to make a practice, game, or training session or if I will be late;
• I understand that I will not play if I do not communicate my availability;
• I will remain positive;
• I will wear the Foothills Lions' colours with pride on game day;
• I will leave it all on the field; and
• I will make every effort to support my teammates and other Club teams.

Respect for sport

• I honour and respect the spirit and traditions of Rugby;
• I do not impede the preparation for competition of either competitors or teammates;
• I respect the decisions of judges and officials;
• I strive for personal excellence in Rugby; and
• I act with fairness and integrity in the pursuit of excellent Rugby.

Respect for Foothills Lions Rugby Football Club

• I accept Foothills Lions RFC's rules, policies, and procedures  governing events and competitions in which I participate;
• I accept that I am an ambassador for Rugby and the Foothills Lions; acting in the best interest of the Club at all times through my actions and words in practices, games, training sessions, and as an observer of the sport;
• I refrain from any action that might bring Rugby or Foothills Lions RFC into disrepute;
• I refrain from any action that might put Foothills Lions RFC into a binding obligation without the approval of the Executive Committee;
• I will support Foothills Lions RFC's goals that we have jointly established; and
• I will trust the advice of coaches and team managers and work with teammates towards a common goal.
